The Calgary-based internet gambling software developer Chartwell Technology has released four new online slots to its licensees, including the popular NextGen Games offering '300 Shields'.
Flagship of the latest releases is the highly-anticipated 20-line slot, Vampires vs Werewolves, a high-payback, Chartwell-built game featuring blood-tingling feature play. With atmospheric sound effects and graphics, an eerie theme and the industry-first 'clash scatter' reward this game is likely to prove a solid attraction. When triggered, the unique cash scatter feature awards credits on any and all standard game symbols which are marked with a cross.
The game also boasts a ground-breaking board-game style bonus round where players can alter their own fate by choosing between the Vampire and the Werewolf.
The popular vampire theme has also been brought to life with its own micro-site on Chartwell's website, where visitors can discover their preference for vampires or for werewolves while learning more about the intricate new slot game. It will also be heavily promoted on Chartwell's new social media sites.
Crocodopolis is a 25-line slot that features the patented "Slide a Wild" feature where players can control their own game volatility and customise the game to their style of play. The colourful characters and Egyptian theme add to the game's excitement.
NextGen's blockbuster 25-line 300 Shields slots offers a Battle Feature free spins round with the chance to win a 300x multiplier. This Spartan-themed slot game is action-packed with stunning animation and an epic soundtrack. Early indications show that this game is already a player favourite.
The 50-line slot, Shogun Showdown, has a popular Japanese warrior theme. This game is performing well right out of the gates; possibly attributable to the rich graphics and the fast and simple game play with two rewarding free spin bonuses, says Dave Acorn, chief operating officer at Chartwell.
"To-date in 2011, Chartwell has released 14 games, its Live Dealer product and our Rapid Game Deployment technology," Acorn says. "Due to the sheer volume of games we're releasing, we're now deploying games on a set schedule of twice a month. We're confident our clients will benefit from our continued focus on providing innovative game play and best-of-breed content."
A controlling interest in Chartwell was recently acquired by the Montreal-based Amaya Gaming.
