IGT (UK) purchased online casino software provider Wagerworks as a vehicle to release IGT slots into online casinos. Although IGT have a strict online policy that forbids players from the USA, Canada and several other countries, what this means is that there are a number of great IGT slot machines now available to play online, including the excellent Cleopatra and the follow-up, Cleopatra II. Oh and lets not forget the new generation of IGT slots, starting with their amazing online port of the motion picture themed Star Trek slot!
The co-ordinated efforts of Wagerworks and IGT have also produced versions of lesser known slot games such as Battleship which some eagle-eyed Vegas slot players may have spotted in kiosk format at one or two land-based casinos, although the online version has different symbols and the addition of free spins to the bonus round.
