I have to be honest and say the IGT Cats slot isn't among my favourite online slots. It was released online at the same time as IGT's Pharaohs Fortune slot and doesn't really compete. On the plus side, cats does include IGT's unique 'Split Symbol' feature as first seen in the Noahs Ark slot, it's so hard to get the free spins feature that I lose interest. To add to that, the free spins is only 5 or 10 spins which isn't exactly too exciting a prospect although the split symbols can produce some decent payouts. The game also retains the authentic look and feel of several IGT slots we have come to know and love but it comes up short in entertainment value IMO.

The main issue for me in the Cats slot is that the feature is triggered by getting the bonus scatter symbol on reels 2, 3 and 4 - the only reels the scatter appears on. It's like the Kitty Glitter slot in that regard but it's made even more frustrating by the fact that even then you are not guaranteed the free spins - it depends how many tiger paws appear on the 3 symbols. It's best explained by watching the Cats video above where I hit the bonus feature after about 15 spins. But don't ask how many attempts it took to get this feature on video!
