The Novomatic Power Stars slot has been released at Star Games along with the Lord Of The Ocean slot and a clone of their popular Shogun slot machine called Katana. Like several Novomatic slot games, the Power Stars slot is quite high variance but it also has expanding wilds that work in a fairly unique way - the short video above shows these in action and will explain it best but basically you get a free spin every time a wild symbol lands and expands.

The symbols and gameplay in Power Stars is very similar to the Xtra Hot slot from the Novoline range and it's not really my cup of tea to be honest. It doesn't provide the same adrenaline rush that Novo games like the excellent Book Of Ra Deluxe slot does for example but that is mainly down to the lack of free spin bonus and expanding scatters.

Despite not being a big fan of the Power Stars slot, Novomatic slots are generally pretty decent though and in some cases, like with Book Of Ra and Reel King, are very well known in land based casinos so I'd definitely recommend taking a look at their range of slot games online.
