This one is a little bit cheeky IMO. The Azteca slot is made by Playtech and very closely resembles Microgaming's famous and very popular Tombraider (the original). It is a free spins bonus slot with an additional pick 'em bonus round. The free spins are activated by getting 3 or more scatters (girl symbol) in view and award 12 free spins at 3x multiplier. These can also be retrigerred indefinitely but getting the first 3 is hard enough! The "mask" bonus is reminiscent of Tombraider's "Idol" bonus where you select 3 masks, but in Azteca's case you can also win through to a second tier and pick an Orb to increase your bet. I have to be fair and say that this bonus round blows Tombraider's out the water in terms of potential - you can win over 14,000x your bet if you get 5 masks and hit both levels in the feature. Azteca itself is a little clunky for my liking but if you are out to win, have a decent starting budget and can cope with a little frustration waiting for the bonus, it's well worth a look.
