Iron Man 2 Slot Review

Playtech have added the second installment of the Iron Man slot to their Marvel slots series. The Iron Man 2 slot uses similar imagery obviously but the mechanics of the game are very different, not just to Iron man but most video slots. The main difference is that most of the symbols in Iron Man 2 are stacked in twos - not all, but most. This makes it graphically pretty decent it must be said but as for playability I'm not 100% convinced myself.

There are actually two versions of the Iron Man 2 slot out there: a 25 payline version and a 50 payline version. If you like low volatility (more playtime, fewer big wins) then the 50-line version (at Bet365) is probably better for you but if like me you prefer higher volatility, go to one of the other casinos listed above because oddly and annoyingly, you can't reduce the paylines on Iron Man 2. The same treatment has been applied to some of the other Playtech Marvel slots like The Hulk slot and the brilliant Fantastic Four but thankfully you can adjust the paylines down on those.

The free spins bonus provides 10 free spins like their Hulk Slot but in this instance you get an increasing multiplier and the middle symbol on reel 3 is always wild. Every 2 spins the multiplier increases by x1, starting at x2 and going up to x6 for the last 2 spins. It's interesting at least - the video above probably demonstrates it better than I can explain it.

Overall, the Iron Man 2 slot is lovely to look at and being medium variance isn't without some decent paydays but for longevity it doesn't glue me to it as much as the superb Gladiator and Great blue slot both of which are also by Playtech.
