The Punisher slot from Playtech (or Punisher War Zone to give it it's full title) is part of the Playtech Marvel Slots series, has stacked wilds and like the rest of the Marvel slots has a free spins bonus, although this one works slightly differently. To get the free spins you have to collect 4 skulls on any single reel. Each time the skull symbol appears on a reel, it adds an icon to the bottom of the reel and when you get 4, you get 5 free spins at 2x. In theory, this means you could get 25 free spins at 2x although normally, you reach 4 on a reel and get 5, then a few spins later the same again etc. However, during the free spins, every time a skull appears anywhere on a reel you get another 5 free spins.

To be honest, compared to other Playtech Marvel slots like ron Man - which also has stacked wilds and free spins - or the superb feature-film inspired Gladiator slot, the Punisher slot doesn't really grab me. It's OK for a change, but I always end up back at Iron Man or the really neat Hulk Slot with it's expanding wilds and free spins.
