When you get two scatters left to right, these reels hold and the other three reels respin 10 times - the aim is to get more scatters on reels 3-5 and when you do you get the payout associated with 2, 3, 4 or 5 scatters. It's quite unusual, and while I wouldn't say Red Sands is my favourite slot, it brings something different to the table and is quite entertaining.
