Back in the day, the online licence for Marvel slot games was exclusive to a company called Cryptologic who to this day, run the popular Intercasino. Then Playtech got their hands on a licence from Marvel and did a series of games like Fantastic Four, X Men and The Hulk that quite frankly, blew most of the Crypto ones out of the water if youonly judge a slot on graphics and sounds. However, most slotjunkies know that a slot machine is as much, if not more, about gameplay and Crypto are good in this department.

Their version of the Fantastic 4 slot doesn't quite have the beels and whistles of the Playtech version but the gameplay is pretty good with a choice of 4 free spin features to choose from. In terms of volatility, their probably isn't much between the two versions to be honest. Which would I go for? Well I am a huge fan of Playtech slots to be honest, in particular their Marvel slot games so I'd probably plump for Playtech before Crypto's version but I still like this version of the Fantastic 4.

Cryptologic have actually released several other slot games in the series and the Fantastic 4 slot is one of my favorites, along with Thor, Hulk Ultimate Revenge (also covered by Playtech) and Silver Surfer. I'm not a massive fan of the newer and popular Batman slot but overall, the series is decent and worth a look - a bit old-skool in style but good for a decent win or two from time to time.
