The X-Factor Jackpot slot is the second incarnation of the original X-Factor slot and is IMO way, way better with a lot more going on. The game is developed under licence from X-factor rights-holders Fremantle Media and unlike the original slot, this version has been developed by up-and-coming slots developer, Ash Gaming.

The slot itself is low/medium variance which means that life-changing wins are hard to come by unless you hit the progressive jackpot but the flip-side is you get lots of entertainment value and a chance of modest profits.

There are three bonus features, each triggered by bonus symbols appearing on specific reels. The free spins feature is my favorite as it introduces sticky wilds but the feature with what seems to me to have the biggest payout potential is the X-Factor bonus. This is triggered by the Bonus symbols appearing on reels 1, 3 and 5 and takes you off to watch the X-Factor TV show complete with video footage of current acts, a voting process and phone votes. It even has the original voice-over guy!

This latter feature is where you can win the progressive jackpots of which there are 3 levels with the top level seeding at £100,000. This feature could use a "speed up" option IMO as I've never been a big fan of the X-Factor show so the acts mostly mean nothing to me. It's entertaining the first few times but after that I just want my money LOL. It's very entertaining otherwise and I think fans of the X-Factor show will probably really like the X-Factor Jackpot slot.

The video above shows all of the bonus features in action, starting with the distinctly average Microphone Bonus which is just a pick 'em feature. The second and third bonuses are worth a look-see though.
